Jamie Batson
Jamie Batson is the Vice President of Mather Associates, a management consulting firm based in New London, NH. She was previously the Program Director for the Center for Constructive Change and served as the Executive Director of the Greater Dover, NH Chamber of Commerce from 1990 to 1993. Her consulting focuses on community leadership development and nonprofit management. Recent clients include The Concord Community Music School, Exeter Hospital, NH Charitable Foundation, The Christa McAuliffe Planetarium, NH Community Technical College System, and Leadership Upper Valley and Leadership Lakes Region. Ms. Batson came to New Hampshire from Rye, New York to attend UNH where she earned a BA in English in 1977. She received her Master's Degree in Education from Syracuse University and returned to New Hampshire to work for the University System College for Lifelong Learning. In addition to roles as Executive Director of the Prescott Park Arts Festival and Manager of the UNH Celebrity Series, Ms. Batson has devoted many years of volunteer service to the arts. She was the founder of First Night Portsmouth, the first President of the Seacoast Arts and Cultural Alliance and chaired the first statewide Conference on the Arts in New Hampshire. She served on the Board of Leadership New Hampshire for six years and has attended every LNH retreat! Ms. Batson lives in Somersworth, NH and St. Croix in the Virgin Islands.
