10:15  Where is New Hampshire? Where the jobs are, where they used to be, what influences where they will be: Russ 
          Thibeault, Applied Economic Research

11:00   Discussion with Ken and Russ: New Hampshire's past and future advantage(s)

Afternoon facilitation by Steve Norton, LNH Class of 2007, Executive Director, NH Center for Public Policy Studies

1:00    Our Towns: How and why are they so different?  Group discussion (hint: be prepared to talk about your town's vital 
          statistics and its place in New Hampshire)

2:30     BREAK

2:45    Our Changing State:  We will break into 4 groups to assess how the state is changing and begin to think about the 
          implications for the state.  Focus areas will be on aging, ethnicity, the economy, and the environment.  Each group will 
          be asked to respond to 5-10 questions about their assigned focus areas.

4:00     Report out the group's thoughts about what NH can expect in the future and what the policy implications of those trends
           might be.  

4:45     Wrap-up, evaluations, next session, etc.

5:00     Adjourn to a convivial location for group development with Leadership Seacoast Sheraton Harborside Hotel
 

Directions to Strawbery Banke Museum

From either I-95N or I-95S, take exit 7 (downtown Portsmouth) 

At the end of the ramp, head south towards the center of Portsmouth: left if coming from the north, right if coming from the south.
Proceed approximately one mile, through one traffic light, to a yellow blinking light. At this blinking light veer to the right onto Russell Street. At the stop sign at the end of Russell Street, take a right. 

At the next intersection, make a left turn onto Maplewood Ave. Stay in the left lane and go through 2 sets of lights. At the third set of lights take a left onto State Street.

Get into the right-hand lane on State Street. Go through 2 sets of lights and continue to the stop sign where State Street intersects with Marcy Street. 

Take a right onto Marcy Street. (Prescott Park will be on the left hand side). Proceed on Marcy Street, past The Dunaway Restaurant and take the next right, which is Hancock Street. The Strawbery Banke Museum parking lot is on your immediate right.
