I've lived in New Hampshire for over 30 years, raised 3 children here and I never tire of the quirks of this place and its people (althought I do occaissionally lose patience with some of the state's decisions....). One of the real delights of living in a small state is the chance to get to know many people and understand how things work. My professional life has afforded me the chance to be out working with lots of different people, most recently during my 10 years at the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and currently at the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits. Nonprofits are a great way to get to know and work with a wide variety of people and I've had the pleasure of serving on the boards of several organizations, including Leadership NH and the Center for Nonprofits. All in all, I feel lucky to live here, surrounded by the gifts that life in New Hampshire has to offer.

I started my career in college admissions at a four year women's college after graduating with a BA in English. After three years, I left to work on a Presidential campaign during the NH and Massachusetts primaries. I then went to work for Senator John Durkin, D-NH for over 5 years.
Hired as Affirmative Action Officer for the City of Manchester on a federal grant, this experience spawned my interest in Human Resources and I stayed on for a total of 16 years as an HR Generalist. I then went to Northeast Delta Dental as VP, HR where I have tremendously enjoyed my career over the years!
And...I have three very wonderful sons!
