Program Director at Community Action Partnership of Strafford County
Lauren Berman, Director of Programs, Community Action Partnership of Strafford County Lauren's career in nonprofit management and human services spans nearly 15 years. In her current role as Director of Programs for Community Action Partnership of Strafford County, Lauren oversees more than 40 programs ranging from Fuel and Electric Assistance, Senior Transportation, Homeless and Housing Programs and Weatherization. She also directs workforce training programs and three food pantries throughout Strafford County. Prior to joining CAPSC, she was Welfare Officer for the City of Somersworth and a founding partner of Good Works Employment Services in York County, a locally run company committed to assisting individuals with finding employment, housing, transportation, education, and volunteer opportunities and other community support. Lauren is a graduate of Ithaca College and holds a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. In Lauren's spare time, she enjoys any outdoor activity, from skiing in the winter to hiking in the summer. You can find her 5 days a week working out at her favorite gym, Orangetheory. Lauren lives with her fiancé and stepdaughter in Manchester, NH.
