Katie Collins (LNH 2007) Director of Development at Capitol Center for the Arts
As a graduate of Leadership New Hampshire (class of 2007, you know the drill), part time actor, part time writer, and full time development director for the state’s largest performing arts organization, I was flattered last year to be asked to serve on the Leadership New Hampshire Board of Trustees. Well, flattered and more than a little nervous, after all I’m not a mover or shaker, I’m not a policy or statistics wonk, I don’t run a company, I’m not a Partner, President, or Executive Director. All I know is the world I have lived in my whole life and worked in for the past 25 years – the world of arts and culture. So when Leadership New Hampshire (LNH) Executive Director Steve Reno asked the board to attend a session day this year I knew that Arts and Culture was the day for me.
