President at Contract Support Group
Sharon Eng is the owner of Contract Support Group (CSG), a contract manufacturing business located in Belmont, NH. CSG specializes in electromechanical assembly allowing larger companies to outsource their production requirements for quick turnaround and competitive costs. Sharon has followed an unconventional path to reach this position. She started her career at DuPont in Wilmington, DE where she worked on the financial aspects of capital projects. In her next position she was a Research & Development Engineer at DuPont’s Richmond, VA facility making Tyvek – the paper you can’t tear. Seeking a different kind of adventure Sharon and her husband, Wing, moved to Hong Kong for what was supposed to be two to three years and turned into sixteen years! While in Hong Kong Sharon worked for the Hay Group advising multinational corporations and local organizations in human resource issues. After taking a break to have three children and work on a Master in Comparative Education at the University of Hong Kong, Sharon established a non-profit education foundation that used a technology-based approach to improve English language instruction for non-native speakers. Sharon and her family have lived in New Hampshire since 2005, and thoroughly enjoy living in Manchester. Sharon has been an active committee member in the Town of Bow and member of the Bow Rotary and Queen City Rotary Clubs. She has also served on the board of the McAuliffe Shepard Discovery Center. Sharon enjoys spending time with her family, loves quilting and adores her dogs.
