Fred Wainwright co-manages $1.5 billion as Senior Investment Strategist at Ledyard Financial Advisors in Hanover, NH. He manages a socially responsible investment strategy and co-manages Ledyard’s global total return and dividend growth strategies. Fred’s clients include business owners, executives, entrepreneurs, family offices, retired individuals and community organizations. Fred is passionate about helping his clients navigate the future. Fred is active in private company investing as an angel investor and an advisory board member of North Atlantic Capital in Portland, ME. Previously Fred was the executive director of an investment and entrepreneurship research center and taught MBAs and business owners at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Fred has been a guest author and has been quoted in various publications including Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and New Hampshire Business Review. Fred is a graduate of Stanford University and earned his MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He received a Certificate of Director Education from the National Association of Corporate Directors and he is a member of the CFA Institute. Fred is a resident of Hanover, NH. He completed the Leadership Upper Valley program and has led and served in boards and committees of educational, economic development and arts organizations. Fred has completed several marathons (Prague was his favorite) and reached the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. He has lived in Latin America and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. He and his family enjoy skiing, meditation, yoga, biking and hiking.
